At Big Water, we enjoy the largest expanse of open water on Lake Hartwell. We have been a family-owned and family-run business for over 25 years, so come on down and become a part of our family.
About Us
Big Water Marina is a full service facility complete with ship's store for your nautical needs. We offer boat brokerage, boat storage, slips, a launch ramp, gas dock, repair yard, active sail club, and rental boats for fun filled adventures on Lake Hartwell. Come enjoy the fun of boating on one of the largest open expanses of water in the Southeast. For the sailing enthusiast, a very active sail club provides opportunities to race, cruise, and socialize.

Our Location
"Hartwell Lake is a man-made lake bordering Georgia and South Carolina on the Savannah, Tugaloo, and Seneca Rivers. Extending 49 miles up the Tugaloo and 45 miles up the Seneca at normal pool elevation, Hartwell Lake comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water with a shoreline of 962 miles." -Army Corps of Engineers
Big Water Marina is located about 2 miles from the Hartwell Dam off of Highway 29. We are about 25 minutes from the city of Anderson and 15 minutes from the town of Hartwell.
