Big Water Marina is a full-service facility that provides an unspoiled oasis for all types of lake lovers. Located on the largest expanse of open water on Lake Hartwell, the marina is one of the most accessible spots for visitors to fully embrace the atmosphere of the lake — on and off the water.

From storage to services, our team takes the work out of boating to offer a pleasant experience for guests from all over. Big Water Marina supports 150+ wet slips tucked in a well-protected cove to harbor boats safely through every season. Convenient access to our general store, boat ramps and fueling station allow tenants and campers to begin their next lake day adventure fully prepared and with ease.

​We also cater to non-boaters with a selection of high-quality rentals, a full-service campground, new inflatable obstacle course, and a seasonal tiki-style bar and grill. Our boat, kayak, paddleboard and hydrobike rentals come equipped with all necessary safety gear and are available to rent for the full day or a half day, so you and your crew can explore the lake at your leisure. For out-of-towners and locals, our tiny cabin village and RV campground provides a lakeside getaway with gorgeous views and full access to our amenities.

During the warmer seasons, guests can also enjoy a variety of on-site activities. Our newest attraction – Splash Island – features our Wibit Inflatable Obstacle Course, a lakeside lounge area on sandy beach shorelines, and access to swimming areas that provide ultimate fun for the whole family. Guests can also treat themselves to a sensational waterfront dining experience at our seasonal restaurant, J.R. Cash's Grill & Bar. From appetizers to desserts, their menu includes a variety of fresh, scratch-made American classics that are made to order. The venue offers a serene environment with main dining areas overlooking Lake Hartwell and access to a rooftop bar that provides incredible sunset views.
